Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully, as they set out the rights of Pack Up & Go LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company and its travel brand Have Fun Do Good (“Have Fun Do Good,” “HFDG,” “we,” “our,” “us,” “Company”), and travelers purchasing travel offerings from Have Fun Do Good (“traveler,” “you”). These terms constitute the entire agreement between the traveler and HFDG and all trips, transactions and services offered or arranged by HFDG.

If you do not want to be bound by our Terms, you should not visit, view, or otherwise use the services of the Company. The Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you, as a user of the Company, and HFDG. Your use of this Company or its services shall constitute your consent with these Terms. HFDG may modify these Terms or other policies set forth on the website from time to time. When we modify these Terms, we will update the “Last Updated” line above, indicating the month and the year of the applicable Terms.

By making a booking or purchasing a travel offering (“Trip” or “trip”) from HFDG, all travelers understand and agree to the entirety of these Terms and agree to abide by them. When making a booking, all travelers on the reservation confirm that:

  • They are at least 21 years of age, and understand that all HFDG Trips have a recommended age range for travelers.
  • They have read and understand all relevant information about the travel package, including the trip itinerary, and understand what is included in the trip and what is not included in the advertised trip cost for the trip.
  • They have read and understand the entire postponement and cancellation policy for the trip, and agree to abide by these policies should they need to postpone or cancel their trip for any reason.
  • They have read and understand the Community Guidelines for all trips, including the Zero Tolerance policy.
  • They have been informed of and understand the risk involved with travel, including any physical risks they may assume during activities on the trip, and the risk of contracting any illnesses.
  • They do not suffer from pre-existing medical conditions that may prevent them from actively participating in the trip or pose a threat or disruption to other participants on the trip, or will alert the HFDG team of any conditions that may impact their ability to participate in the trip ahead of time so that the team can prepare and/or adjust the trip accordingly.

HFDG as a Third Party Operator

PLEASE NOTE: HAVE FUN DO GOOD IS NOT A TRAVEL PROVIDER, WE ARE A TOUR OPERATOR. WE ARE SUBJECT TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS SET FORTH BY AIRLINES, HOTEL PROVIDERS, AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS.

We sell a variety of travel-related products from different hospitality, hotel, transportation, activity, sightseeing, and restaurant providers (collectively, the “Providers”). Each Provider has its own terms and conditions that are applicable to your particular trip in addition to our Terms and Conditions, and you should make sure you understand those terms.

We act as a Tour Operator or “Booking Agent” for products and services that are not directly supplied by us (e.g., hotel accommodations, etc.) We are not a co-vendor of such products and services. You may be entering into a separate contract with such Providers in connection with such products and services and such contracts may be required for participation in the Trip.

 Health, Wellbeing, and Safety

All travelers on HFDG trips are required to have health insurance coverage, and may be asked to submit proof of coverage at the time of booking, prior to departure, or during the trip. This documentation will be used solely in the case of emergencies or if the traveler requires medical care while on their trip. By participating on a HFDG trip, you grant permission for emergency first aid or medical assistance to be administered by your trip leader or any medical provider when deemed necessary. Should an emergency or health crisis occur during the trip, HFDG reserves the right to obtain medical assistance and any associated costs will be the responsibility of the traveler. In emergency health situations, the trip leader will assist with securing medical assistance for the traveler, and the traveler understands that the assistance may or may not be covered by their health insurance, and agrees to assume all associated costs with such assistance.

Travelers with preexisting medical conditions or medical concerns may wish to consider purchasing travel insurance policies for their HFDG trip. Any costs associated with purchasing this policy is the sole responsibility of the traveler. HFDG will not issue any refunds for unused policies and will not contribute to any premiums or claims related to any such policies.

All travelers are responsible for bringing and administering all necessary medications for their trip. If travelers have any severe or life-threatening allergies, they must alert the HFDG team and trip leader in advance of the trip, and the traveler is responsible for having an EpiPen or any similar life-saving medications on their person at all times for the duration of the trip.

HFDG will make every attempt to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. In certain scenarios, not all restrictions or requests can be granted. If HFDG is unable to accommodate a serious or life-threatening allergy, the traveler will be alerted and provided the opportunity to cancel their booking. Dietary preferences or aversions might not be accommodated.

Physical Activity on Trips

HFDG trips may include physical activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, yoga, or other such physical excursions, and may include recreational activities which are inherently dangerous. Trip descriptions will indicate the activities that will be done on the trip, as well as any recommendations for physical requirements so that participants can make an informed decision about whether they would be able to successfully participate in the trip’s activities. Due to the outdoor nature of the trips, not all trips are guaranteed to be fully accessible for travelers who use wheelchairs or have limited physical abilities. This will always be communicated clearly on the trip description.

Collecting Traveler Information

When signing up for a HFDG Trip, all travelers will be required to complete a Pre-Trip Survey. On this survey, we require personal information such as name, date of birth, phone number, email address, dietary restrictions, pre-existing medical conditions that may impact your trip participation, and emergency contact information. Travelers must also upload a copy of their driver’s license or valid government-issued ID prior to departure and may be required to provide a passport. Booking information is subject to change at any time and may vary by trip. This information is used for the purpose of making reservations related to the trip, including hotel bookings, activity reservations, miscellaneous bookings, and meals. Personal information will also be used for marketing and promotional communication purposes unless you opt-out. It may also be used in cases of emergency before, during, or after a trip. As permissible by law, HFDG reserves the right to conduct background checks for all trip participants to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all trip participants and the trip leader. Failure to timely provide required information may result in prohibition of a Traveler from participating in a trip.

Booking Process

All participants must sign up for their HFDG trip via the Company’s website. No bookings can be made by phone, email, or in-person. All bookings require a deposit to secure your spot on the trip, and a trip is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received and the traveler has received a confirmation from the Company by email.

If a trip is sold out, HFDG may offer a waitlist. Please note that by adding your name to the waitlist, you are not guaranteed a spot on the trip, nor is it guaranteed that any additional spots will be available. You will be notified by email if a spot becomes available for you to join a trip. Failure to respond to a waitlist notification email within 24 hours will lead to your forfeiting your waitlist spot and another person on the waitlist may be offered the available spot.

Cancellations and Postponements by Traveler

Cancellations and postponements by the traveler must be submitted in writing to reservations@havefundogood.co. Refunds are not guaranteed, are subject to the below schedule, and determined based on whether the traveler has added Peace of Mind Refund Assurance to their booking.

Cancellations by HFDG

There may be certain instances in which HFDG must cancel a trip in its entirety due to natural disasters or forces out of our control. In these scenarios, travelers will be notified immediately and may be issued a refund or credit for future use, at HFDG’s sole discretion.

Additional Costs

An HFDG trip will include certain pieces of transportation, all accommodations, some activities and meals during each trip. Travelers should expect to incur certain costs during their trip, which will be communicated ahead of time, and inclusions will be clearly noted on the trip description. HFDG trip reservations do not include flight bookings, reservations, or any fees associated with flight reservations, such as seat assignments, checked bags, or any airline-imposed fees. When signing up for a trip, travelers may have the option to enhance their booking package with upgraded room types or other types of add-ons. Any costs associated with those enhancements will be communicated on the booking page. Travelers understand that any meals not specified as included, snacks, drinks, activities, souvenirs, or any other voluntary purchases on their trip are entirely their responsibility. HFDG will offer no refunds for any dissatisfaction for any voluntary purchases made outside of the HFDG trip booking.

Gratuities

While not required, Trip leaders and any third-party tour operators or providers on the trip may accept gratuities. Providing gratuities is entirely optional and an additional cost for the traveler.

Airline Bookings

All travelers are responsible for securing their own travel to the trip’s starting location and for their return travel from the trip’s ending location. HFDG will not assist with making or modifying these reservations. HFDG will provide all travelers with the timing requirements for when they must arrive at their destination and when they can depart in accordance with the trip itinerary.

HFDG is not responsible for ensuring travelers have booked the correct days, times, or schedule for their air travel. Travelers are entirely responsible for any costs incurred from travel changes and must set up notifications from their airline to be aware of any delays, changes or cancellations to their air travel by the airline. In the instance that the traveler’s flight is canceled, causing them to miss all or a portion of the HFDG trip, no refunds will be issued. If a delay or cancellation will impact a traveler’s participation on the trip, travelers are responsible for contacting HFDG immediately so that the trip leader is aware.

Travelers must adhere to all airline policies, security measures, baggage restrictions, and change or cancellation policies. HFDG will not reimburse travelers for expenses or losses incurred due to airline changes, cancellations, or delays.

Room Pairings

Unless a single-room upgrade has been purchased when booking a trip, all travelers will be paired with a roommate. When signing up with another traveler, you may request a specific roommate, which can be a friend or partner of the same or different gender identity. If a specific roommate is not requested, all travelers will be paired with a roommate of the same gender identity.

Personal On-Trip Conduct

All travelers are responsible for their personal conduct on HFDG trips. Due to the group nature of the experiences, HFDG has a Zero Tolerance Policy for any and all inappropriate, hateful, or harmful language or behavior. While the use of alcohol is permitted on trips, all travelers are required to conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner. The use of any illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on HFDG trips. Each HFDG trip has a trip leader who is the authority for each group and is empowered to make all final decisions in their sole discretion related to the conduct of trip participants.

Failure to comply with trip leader instructions, non-compliance with the Zero Tolerance Policy, or any inappropriate behavior may be grounds for immediate expulsion from the trip. In these instances, no refunds will be provided and HFDG reserves the right to refuse participation in future HFDG trips.

By participating on a HFDG trip, all travelers agree to abide by local, state, and federal laws. Failure to do so may result in immediate expulsion from the HFDG trip, and HFDG is not liable for any interactions between the traveler and local law enforcement.

HFDG retains the right to refuse service to any traveler or potential client at any time, for any lawful reason, in its sole discretion.

Smoking is not permitted in any of our accommodations or on any tours or group activities.

Social Media + Photo/Video

Travelers keep all ownership rights to any photograph or other content they generate during a trip but grant HFDG permission to use such Content as solely determined by HFDG. By submitting, for HFDG’s use a photograph or other content, including but not limited to photo captions, traveler names, and the names of any person appearing in the content (collectively, “Content”), you grant HFDG the worldwide, unrestricted, royalty-free, irrevocable, pereptual, sub-licensable right to (a) publish, publicly display and perform, modify, edit, alter and otherwise use the Content in whole or in part, without further consent, review or participation from the traveler, for any purpose throughout the world (including commercial and promotional) in any medium or format now existing or hereafter created, including but not limited to print or recorded material, websites, and social media platforms; and (b) use your name, commentary, and other information about you in connection with the Content. You represent and warrant that you have the express permission of each person who appears in the Content to be captured, and for the use of the Content by HFDG, and that you have informed each such person of these Terms.

You agree not to submit any Content that:

  • Infringes any intellectual property rights of any other person or third party, including but not limited to copyright and trademark.

HFDG reserves the unilateral right to change accommodations, meals, pre-planned activities, or any other part of the trip itinerary with or without notice for any reason. In the event that a reservation must be changed, HFDG will make best efforts to find a reasonable substitute of similar quality as the original booking.

Liability Waiver

All travelers must sign a HFDG Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement prior to their participation in any HFDG trip.  Failure to execute the HFDG liability waiver will result in a traveler’s exclusion from a trip, at the traveler’s expense.
